About André

I’m recently back to the UK after finishing my internship in Lisbon in an architecture firm, that introduced me to a different environment and gave me perspective of my future experien- ces, how do I want to shape my way through my professional world. I did a Product Design BTEC some years ago and that really opened the doors for my artistic self, I’ve had the oppor- tunity to try out different aspects of design, engaging with mate- rials, people and spaces and that provided me skills of commu- nication and critical thought throughout these entire years.
I also worked for 5 years in retail during university breaks, since my teens providing great costumer service, later becoming brand ambassador and navigating a little more into fashion de- sign, catching a bit of everything I loved and felt passionate about. Im keen to learn and to pass my past experien- ce to people, learning from them and also sharing mine, as engagement is personally sharing moments.
I believe in a range of possibilities when volunteering for something you really like, as I said before, engaging with your reality and your passions really make it worth, and you as a per- son develop and discover new parts of yourself when doing it.
I did and still do some volunteer jobs, the most re- cent one in London Craft Week this year where I absolu- tely loved the dimension of the Programme and how intrin- sic and connected everything is, with their own character.
I have a really strong sense of good communication with people, so I adapt and camouflage when communicating with someone, trying to get the essence of each. People normally em- pathize with my being and feel comfortable with my presence, leading to conversation to develop and experiences to be made.
I’d be thrilled to be part of this family and to count with this experience to really engage with different forms of art and to connect with the London craftsmanship and creative world once again. I guess Covid-19 just gave me more strength to follow my passions and pursue what really connects me with the world!

About the lesson

Portuguese happens in the three axes of reality and can be taught as a supplement, in such a way as to develop oral capacities, and recognizing the physical world as part of its matter and its process.
My teaching method is developed with the student with whom I work, always adapting the techniques to the best perception that the student obtains from the subject. All classes will be accompanied by a app to support the exercise at work, to understand the exercise.
