About Mikayla
I recently graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a 3.99 GPA where I double majored in Molecular and Cellular Biology and Psychology. I will be starting Medical School this fall. I have five years of tutoring experience from elementary school children to college students. I was also a dual sport athlete and two year captain on the Swimming and Track and Field Teams which taught me excellent time management and study skills.

My teaching method is to work to get students to become excited by the material. I start with the basics so that students gain confidence and a strong foundation which we then build upon together. I create engaging ways to work through the material and provide plenty of practice questions and though experiments to cement the information. I also bring a positive energy and smile to every tutoring session!
