About Childs
I am a pre-med Junior at the University of Arizona and a former Division-1 Gymnast at the school as well. I love math and science and am always trying to challenge myself to learn more and also help others in the course. I have been a preceptor for chemistry before which gave me valuable experience in teaching and helping students in a difficult course.

My teaching methods include helping students with practice problems and giving them extra problems to help because I believe the best approach to learning is practice. A typical lesson plan would be to start with teaching the student and filling in any gaps from what they already know and then moving into practicing what they have just learned. What sets me apart as a tutor is that I am super patient and will try many approaches to get the student to a full understanding. As a student myself who has been in many tutoring sessions of my own I have seen what works for me and how tutoring can be beneficial and want to help others in the same way. The lessons are for anyone who needs help in their classes from middle school to college. I would love to help with math, chemistry, and anatomy and physiology, but I am open to helping in many science courses!
