About Sevinch
Going into college, I was shocked at how much I first struggled. I realized that simply memorizing concepts wouldn't work, and drastically had to improve my study habits and my approach. After much work, I was able to excel and recently graduated with my Bachelor degree in Biology and minor in History, with a focus on Pre-Medicine. I am eager and excited to not only help and share my knowledge, but inspire curiosity and show just how interesting learning can be if approached with the right mindset.

With previous experience in peer tutoring, and as a recipient myself, I think its important to first determine foundational learning and weaknesses before getting more in depth. As a student, I found that one of the biggest hurdles wasn't understanding the material itself, but going into a class with minimal or weak base knowledge. With any subject, its important to understand the base concepts before getting into the niche topics. I will first make gauge a students base knowledge, and start from the very beginning if need be. Knowledge is power, and understanding a class or passing is useless if you cant take that knowledge with you into the future. Learning shouldn't be about just memorizing, but understanding.
