Perfect! Darren was very receptive to the personality of my 6 year old son, responding to him in friendly engaging way. He fully understood the need for a child to enjoy a lesson in order to learn. Without making it too obvious he was able to assess my child's ability and teach him a new chess strategy. He allowed the opportunity for me as a parent to join in and think how the lesson went, what my child and I wanted, and how to continue the lessons. My child finished the lesson keen for the next one - not always an easy feat with a 6 year old!
