About me

I am a positive and encouraging tutor who has qualified as a Primary school teacher. I've worked within year 6 classrooms and tutored year 6 children online. I have a friendly approach to teaching and accommodate to each tutees individual needs.

My Lessons

I have been a tutor of Mathematics and English for the last two years and I am dedicated to improving subject knowledge and meeting their targets. I now specialise in tutoring SATs, having had extensive experience in This. I am always up to date with the latest curriculum and ensure that my lessons focus on the areas needed for improvement.

I start by focusing on areas that students have difficulty with, making sure that students have a good understanding of the basic concepts, until progressing onto more complex areas. I have found that in doing so, this allows students to gain a much greater understanding and builds their confidence in the process. As the latest curriculum is heavily focused on problem solving, I find that it is imperative to provide students with techniques that will aid in letting them apply their knowledge to any type of question that can be asked.
