About Kristian
I am a multi-instrumentalist currently studying at Kinder High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, where I focus on developing both my performance skills and musicianship. I play saxophone, clarinet, piano, and also sing, and this is my fifth year of dedicated musical training.
Through my experience in advanced music theory and conducting programs at HSPVA, I’ve learned not only how to perform at a high level, but also how to understand music deeply and teach it effectively. Studying in this environment has allowed me to refine my pedagogy and learn how to break down complex concepts in a way that’s clear and approachable for students.
As both a student and a performer, I understand what it takes to improve — and how to guide others through that process. I’m passionate about helping students build strong fundamentals, grow in confidence, and truly enjoy their musical journey.
