About Steven

Hi, I’m Steven, a professional guitarist and bassist with over 24 years of playing experience. I’ve performed live with artists across genres, recorded in professional studios, and worked on projects ranging from solo acoustic sets to full band productions. Music has been a core part of my life for decades, and I love sharing that passion with others. Whether you’re brand new to guitar or looking to take your playing to the next level, I create a supportive, relaxed learning environment that keeps you motivated and growing. I understand what it’s like to feel stuck or unsure where to start. My goal is to help you build real skills, play the music you love, and enjoy the process every step of the way.

About the lesson

Hi, I’m Steven—a professional guitarist and bassist with 24 years of experience performing live, recording in studios, and collaborating with artists across genres.

My Approach:
My lessons are hands-on, personalized, and rooted in helping you enjoy your instrument. I meet students where they are, whether you’re picking up a guitar for the first time or trying to break through an intermediate plateau. We’ll focus on technique, rhythm, and tone, while also exploring songs you love, building your ear, and gaining confidence as a player.

What to Expect in a Lesson:
• Warm-up drills and technique building
• Chord progressions, scales, and rhythm exercises
• Song study based on your goals and interests
• Improvisation tips and play-along time
• Recaps and practice suggestions to keep you moving forward

What Sets Me Apart:
I bring a professional musician’s perspective but break things down in a way that’s clear and encouraging. You won’t just memorize songs, you’ll understand why things work, and how to make the instrument your own.

Who It’s For:
Perfect for beginners and intermediate players of all ages who want to learn acoustic guitar, electric guitar, or bass—at your pace, with your style in mind.
