About Margarida
Hiya! I am a performer, songwriter and music producer based in London (UK). I offer 1-2-1 Music production lessons via Zoom/Skype or in the South London area.
I am a recent music production graduate with over 10 years of hands-on experience in the professional and academic universe.
Being an artist and performer puts me in a good position to understand some of the frustrations that the music industry can bring and that is a place of learning.
I am enthusiastic and sensitive. I will always encourage you to find creative solutions and outcomes while making sure you feel heard and supported.
QUALIFICATIONS:
BA in Musicology by NOVA University of Lisbon
MA in Music Production by Leeds Beckett University
Grade 8 in Singing/Performance and Music Theory
Grade 5 in Piano and Violin

Traditional education can be broad and dull. My approach to tutoring is to completely avoid the grey areas and go straight to the point. The way each person looks at life is very unique and so is Music Production. I will tailor each class to YOU in order to give YOU the tools to navigate the tremendous experience that it is to produce music.
While you're learning, I will be learning with you. That is the magic of it all.
My classes cover recording, pre-production, production, music theory, composition, songwriting, sampling and mixing in Logic Pro X.
Suitable for Beginners to Intermediate levels.

Perfect! Margarida is a great music production tutor. She took the time to speak to me about what I wanted to learn and what my current knowledge level was. She then put together a plan for our lessons. She always checks with me if I am happy with how the lessons are going and if there is anything in particular I want to work, which means I get the most out of my lessons.
