About Jorge
My name is Jorge and I am a certified Texas mathematics educator with over 18 years of experience helping students at all levels build real confidence and understanding in math. I hold two Texas State Teaching Certifications in Mathematics — Grades 4–8 and Grades 8–12 — as well as a Master of Business Administration in Finance and International Banking. I am trilingual in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, which allows me to connect with and support students and families from a wide range of backgrounds. I am patient, professional, and fully committed to every student's success.

I begin every session by identifying exactly where the student is struggling, then build understanding step by step at a pace that works for them. I use interactive digital tools to keep sessions engaging and productive, making sure every student leaves with greater clarity and confidence than when they started.
My lessons cover elementary through high school mathematics, including Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, and Pre-Calculus, as well as standardized test preparation for the SAT, PSAT, ACT, and ACCUPLACER. Whether you need help with one specific topic or ongoing support throughout the school year, I adapt every session to your goals and learning style.
