When sharing skills in the kitchen I really like to focus on the "why" we do things a certain way, so that the student really understands the method, and the reason for the method. This is why simply following a recipe can never actually replace the process of being taught a process hands on.
I am a professional Chef, with 23 years Industry experience. I have worked in A la carte restaurants, large hotel and banquet style kitchens, and have also been a teacher of the Culinary Arts at the Community College level. I am active in the supporting the London Community through volunteer efforts, and I am an active member of the Canadian National Culinary Federation. I have a wide range of cooking knowledge with experience in multi-ethnic cuisines.
