About Marianna
I am a professional Chess tutor with 7 years of teaching experience, working with high school and college students. I have successfully guided around 200 students, helping them improve strategy, confidence, and competitive thinking. My teaching philosophy is based on patience, motivation, and clear problem-solving. I focus on strong fundamentals, smart planning, and learning from real games. I adapt my lessons to each student’s level and goals, whether for academics, competitions, or personal growth. My aim is to make Chess enjoyable while developing sharp thinking and discipline.

My teaching approach in Chess is structured, student-centered, and practical. I focus on building strong foundations in openings, middlegame strategy, endgames, tactics, calculation, and positional understanding. I teach game analysis, critical thinking, time management, and tournament preparation. With empathy and patience, I understand each student’s level and learning pace. I motivate students to enjoy learning while developing discipline and confidence. I use problem-solving methods, real-game examples, puzzles, and guided practice to improve decision-making. My goal is to help students think independently, handle pressure, and grow as smart, strategic players both on and off the board.
