About Sergio
My love for music has led me to devote myself to it for many years, both on stage and in teaching. I have participated and participate in projects of various styles, my specialty is accompaniment to flamenco song and dance.
Regarding my training, I have a degree in Music Teaching from the University of Barcelona and a higher degree in Flamenco Guitar from the Conservatory of Córdoba. I recently finished a master's degree in interpretation and composition of jazz and modern music at the University of La Rioja.
I have done private lessons, group lessons, master classes and conferences in several countries including France, Italy, Cuba, China, Bulgaria and Russia.
I have been a patient and self-taught person for many years, which made me analyze the various learning techniques of both instrument and music theory. In my methodology I use both teaching by imitation and written supports. Tactile and auditory sensation exercises. I really enjoy teaching, I also try to make students enjoy their learning.
My specialty is flamenco guitar, although I also start playing guitar in general. I usually work with my students based on different styles and songs they like. I base my methodology on what you already know for more meaningful learning.

I started as a guitarist following the traditional method of oral and self-taught learning, years later I graduated in pedagogy, I obtained a degree in flamenco guitar and I did a master's degree in jazz and modern music.
