About Lomi

As a flute tutor with 12 years of teaching experience, I believe every student has the ability to learn and enjoy music. I teach school students, college students, and working professionals, offering personalized lessons that suit different experience levels and learning styles.

My teaching philosophy is based on communication, patience, flexibility, and creativity. I encourage students to learn through practical experience while developing confidence step by step. My lessons are interactive, engaging, and designed to make learning enjoyable.

Apart from flute, I teach music theory, rhythm training, ear training, breath control, beginner keyboard, sight reading, improvisation basics, and stage performance techniques. These subjects help students gain a deeper understanding of music.

I guide students in improving posture, breathing, finger technique, rhythm, tone production, and musical interpretation. I also teach effective practice routines that help students improve independently. My goal is to help every learner become a confident and expressive flute player.

About the lesson

My teaching philosophy is to make flute learning simple, enjoyable, and meaningful for every student. I use Communication, Accountability, and Integrity to create lessons that encourage confidence, consistency, and continuous improvement.

Students first learn the fundamentals of breathing, posture, embouchure, finger movement, and tone quality. As these skills improve, lessons expand to include rhythm exercises, scales, notation reading, articulation, dynamics, phrasing, and performance preparation. I ensure that each lesson builds naturally on the previous one so students progress with confidence.

Communication helps students understand each technique through clear explanations and demonstrations. Accountability encourages responsibility by promoting regular practice, lesson preparation, and personal goal setting. Integrity allows me to teach with honesty, patience, fairness, and professionalism while supporting every student's growth.

Besides flute, I also teach Music Theory, Sight Reading, Ear Training, Staff Notation, Rhythm Training, Breath Management, Instrument Care, Music Appreciation, Performance Preparation, and Practice Techniques. These complementary subjects help students become well-rounded musicians.

My objective is to help students enjoy every lesson, strengthen their musical abilities, and develop a lifelong love for music.
