About Ottis
I am an experienced Guitar tutor with 10 years of teaching experience, helping school students, college students, and working professionals achieve their musical goals. I believe that learning guitar should be enjoyable, inspiring, and suitable for every student's individual needs. My aim is to create a positive learning experience that helps students develop confidence and a genuine love for music.
I teach beginners as well as intermediate learners and focus on building strong fundamentals. My lessons include guitar basics, chord progressions, rhythm training, strumming techniques, scales, fingerstyle methods, ear training, and basic music theory. I also encourage students to learn songs they enjoy so that lessons remain interesting and practical.
My teaching style is based on patience, communication, and support. I understand that every learner progresses differently, so I adapt my methods according to each student's pace and goals. I always encourage students to ask questions and enjoy the process of learning.
One of my strengths is simplifying complex topics into easy and understandable steps. I focus on steady improvement through regular practice and constructive feedback.
My goal is to help students become confident guitar players and develop a lifelong connection with music.

I teach Guitar in a step-by-step manner, beginning with basic techniques and gradually progressing to advanced concepts. Students learn chords, scales, rhythm, strumming patterns, and practical song applications. I also introduce music theory to help students understand the structure of music.
Effective communication helps me build strong connections with students and understand their learning requirements. I encourage active participation and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
Creativity plays an important role in keeping students motivated. I use fun activities, practical examples, and song practice to make learning interesting. Flexibility allows me to adapt lessons according to the student's age, pace, and musical goals.
In addition to Guitar, I can also teach related subjects including ear training, rhythm development, and performance techniques. My goal is to help students enjoy music while achieving steady progress.
