About Sam
I am Sammy and I am passionate about music as a whole and the guitar more specifically. This passion drove me to complete a BA Hons in Professional Musicianship, which built on my years of playing and performing as a guitarist. I was fortunate enough to be taught by skilled and passionate people and my hope is that I can now pass down that knowledge to the next generation of musicians.
My career outside of music has allowed me to develop training and coaching skills which I have adapted into the way in which I teach guitar.
I am currently a part of an active, performing band as lead guitarist and lead vocalist. This continues to motivate me and encourages me to develop myself further as a musician.

Using various coaching techniques and interactive learning methods to provide a detailed, well-rounded learning experience.
Lessons range between 1 and 2 hours.
Using knowledge from my BA Hons in Professional Musicianship of Guitar and experience from being an active performing musician.
Lessons for beginner to advanced learners, all ages welcome.
For beginners:
- From starting points to basics, covering things such as pick grip, basic chords, touching on theory and more
- Relaxed approach, taking things slow and working on specific areas of the instrument and technique
- Providing useful learning materials to help along the way
For intermediate/advanced levels:
- More advanced theory and techniques
- Covering scales, arpeggios, chord voicings and more
- Providing more advanced learning materials (scale exercises, speed and rhythm exercises etc)
- Supporting independent exploration of the instrument and fostering creativity
