About Chass

Chass studied at the West Australian Conservatorium of Music in Perth before embarking on a successful international career as a profession piano player, session musician and recording producer.

He has performed and recorded with artists including "Tones and I", Jon Stevens (INXS, Noiseworks), 1927 and Debra Byrne.

Having relocated to Brisbane with his young family Chass now runs a teaching facility and music production business focused on mentoring musicians and artists wishing to develop a career in the arts.

Chass has a vast experience in teaching young children (4 - 12 years of age), Teenagers and also Mature aged students wishing to learn piano later in life.

About the lesson

Lessons can be in person or online and a unique programme can be tailored to suit your areas of interest and musical development. From beginner piano through to advanced jazz piano harmony, theory, songwriting and composition. All genres from classical, jazz, blues, soul and pop music.

Rowan had a keen interest in developing a better understanding of Jazz Harmony. I believe me made a good start on that process and we should be able to open up his knowledge base quickly, especially with his already advanced level of playing.
