About Wesley

Teaching Spanish has been a rewarding journey for me over the last 10 years. I have worked with around 150 High School and College students, helping them improve their language skills through structured and engaging lessons. My teaching philosophy focuses on making learning enjoyable while building a strong foundation in every aspect of the language.

I believe students learn best when they understand the purpose of what they are studying. That is why I connect grammar and vocabulary with real-life conversations and practical situations. My lessons include speaking practice, listening exercises, reading passages, writing tasks, and pronunciation training. Every lesson is adjusted to suit the student's pace, ensuring they feel comfortable and confident.

Helping students achieve better academic results and stronger communication skills has been one of my greatest accomplishments. Many of my students have overcome their fear of speaking Spanish and have become more confident learners. I provide regular feedback, encouragement, and guidance so students continue making steady progress.

As a tutor, I value respect, patience, honesty, and continuous learning. My mission is to inspire students to enjoy Spanish while developing skills that will benefit them throughout their education and beyond.

About the lesson

I believe that successful language learning happens when students feel supported, motivated, and actively involved. My teaching methodology combines creativity, critical thinking, mentoring, and accountability to create engaging Spanish lessons that build confidence and practical communication skills.

Every lesson is personalized to match the student's level, interests, and learning objectives. I use creative activities including conversations, storytelling, games, role plays, visual learning, and interactive exercises to make lessons enjoyable while strengthening speaking, listening, reading, and writing abilities.

Critical thinking is encouraged by helping students understand grammar through practical examples, compare sentence structures, and apply vocabulary in meaningful situations. Students learn how to communicate naturally instead of relying only on memorization.

As a mentor, I provide patient guidance, continuous encouragement, and positive feedback. I believe every learner has unique strengths, and I work closely with students to overcome challenges while celebrating every achievement.

Accountability is maintained through clear lesson plans, regular revision, practical assignments, progress tracking, and personalized feedback. These strategies help students remain motivated and achieve consistent improvement.

Besides Spanish, I also teach pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, conversation practice, reading comprehension, writing skills, listening exercises, beginner Spanish, travel Spanish, DELE preparation, and Hispanic culture. My lessons combine academic learning with practical communication so students can confidently use Spanish in everyday life.

My aim is to help every student become an independent, confident, and fluent Spanish speaker through enjoyable and structured learning.
