About Josh
I am British, but I have spent most of my life living and working in countries across Europe, East Africa and North Africa. Although I have done commercial work involving product and studio photography, I am most passionate about being out in the world and sharing what I have seen with others.
My landscape and travel portraiture has been exhibited in art galleries on three continents, and I am in the process of developing my first photo book on the Nubian people of Southern Egypt. I am a Leica photographer, however I have also worked extensively with Fujifilm, Olympus, Panasonic, and Sony equipment in the past.

I believe that everyone’s photography journey looks different: we all have different hopes, different budgets and different amounts of time and energy we can commit to improving our craft. My first goal is to understand where you are at in that journey, where you’d like to be, and to agree on what we can do to help you to get there.
Whether you are just looking for a lesson or two to point you in the right direction, or you are looking for a longer-term source of guidance and feedback, I am here to help. I advise my students on what gear to buy, how to improve their skill behind the camera, how to edit, and how to compose photos that stand out from the crowd.
