About Tom
I am currently in my 9th year working as a freelancing professional violinist and violin teacher, having graduated with a Master of Music from Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 2017. I have experience in teaching in a variety of settings, from one-on-one tuition to classroom teaching and leading orchestral and chamber ensemble sectionals. I currently have 14 regular students who have one-to-one lessons. I am qualified and have experience in preparing students for ABRSM exams, with a 100% pass rate to date, including 83% at merit/distinction grade.
Aside from teaching, I have performed regularly with orchestras such as the BBC Philharmonic, Hallé Orchestra, English National Opera, English National Ballet, London Mozart Players and London Sinfonietta.
