About Hattie
With over 12 years of experience teaching Singing, I have successfully guided students of different ages and backgrounds towards achieving their musical goals. I teach School students, College students, and Working Professionals, offering lessons that are tailored to individual needs and aspirations.
My teaching style is encouraging, structured, and interactive. I believe that learning should be both enjoyable and meaningful. Every student receives personalised attention, allowing them to build confidence while developing strong vocal skills. I adapt my methods to suit different learning preferences and experience levels.
My lessons focus on vocal development, breath control, pitch improvement, rhythm, vocal expression, and performance techniques. I use creative exercises, practical demonstrations, and song analysis to help students understand and apply important concepts. Regular assessments help students track their growth and stay motivated.
I also teach Music Theory, Ear Training, and Vocal Coaching. These related subjects provide students with valuable knowledge that enhances their singing abilities. I encourage students to develop strong practice habits and a deeper appreciation for music.
One of my unique skills is helping students identify and strengthen their natural vocal qualities. By creating a supportive and positive environment, I help learners gain confidence and perform with greater ease. My goal is to make learning Singing an enjoyable and rewarding experience for every student.

My approach to teaching Singing combines flexibility, creativity, understanding, and time management to create a positive and effective learning experience. I believe students learn best when lessons are engaging, interactive, and tailored to their individual goals.
At the beginning of the learning process, I take time to understand each student's musical interests, strengths, and challenges. This helps me design lessons that are both enjoyable and productive. Every student progresses differently, so I adjust the pace and content of lessons to suit their learning needs.
Creativity plays an important role in my classes. I use interactive activities, vocal games, song-based exercises, and performance tasks to help students develop essential singing skills while staying motivated. By incorporating music students enjoy, I make learning more relatable and inspiring.
My lessons focus on important areas such as breathing control, pitch development, vocal range expansion, rhythm, pronunciation, and musical expression. Students learn how to apply these techniques directly to songs, making their progress practical and measurable.
Understanding and encouragement are central to my teaching philosophy. I strive to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable exploring their voices, asking questions, and overcoming challenges without fear of judgement.
Strong time management ensures that every lesson has a clear purpose and structure. Each session includes warm-ups, technique training, song practice, and performance preparation, helping students use their learning time effectively.
