I'm a professional viola player and viola and violin teacher with more than 30 years experience

I had the pleasure of studying with Maruan at the Higher Institute of Music, where he was my teacher. What I appreciated most was his dedication to teaching, his respect for the profession, and his kind and respectful approach to students. His feedback was always professional and helpful, and his interactive lessons really helped me develop my skills.

I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a dedicated teacher who can help you grow both as a musician and as a person.

It has been an absolute privilege to study music with Maruan at one of the most prestigious institutes. My experience with him as a music tutor has been exceptional in every way. From our very first lesson, he demonstrated a deep mastery of his instrument and an incredible ability to tailor his teaching style to my personal needs. Throughout my time studying with him, he was always patient, encouraged me to overcome technical difficulties, and turned complex musical concepts into clear, expressive steps. Thanks to his continuous guidance and close follow-up, I noticed a remarkable improvement in my musical skills and self-confidence. I recommend Maruan with absolute confidence to anyone looking for a dedicated, professional music teacher who can make a real difference in their artistic journey

He's actually the best teacher I've ever had. The best thing about him is his patience and kindness, and the way he treats his students as his kids. I have made significant progress in playing the viola since I started taking lessons with him.

"I have known Maruan since 2000. Over the past 26 years, we have performed together in all concerts of the Syrian National Symphony Orchestra, both in Syria and internationally. Notably, over the last 9 years, we have collaborated closely on numerous chamber music performances, including trios, quartets, and chamber orchestra concerts. I also had the honor of performing with him in a special concert dedicated to his own compositions, titled 'Audible Thoughts for Trio,' which received widespread acclaim and was a massive success.
Maruan is an incredibly kind, charming, and highly intelligent person who connects with everyone with utmost tact and genuine warmth. As the Viola professor at the Conservatoire for over 15 years, his engaging, witty, and deeply enriching teaching style has inspired many violin students to fall in love with the viola and switch to it. He uniquely accompanies his students on the piano during lessons, helping them perfect their intonation and truly grasp the musical context. I highly recommend him!"

Maruan is truly an inspiring Viola teacher whose long years of experience in graduating professionals have filled his archive with success stories. Anyone who has the opportunity to be taught by Maruan is incredibly fortunate.
