About Rohit

Programming has been a lifelong passion for me. My journey began 17 years ago with Visual Basic and Oracle during my higher secondary education, and since then, my enthusiasm for programming has grown in tandem with the evolution of the IT industry. Over the years, I've gained proficiency in a wide array of programming languages, including Java, C, C++, ABAP, Angular, C#, Python, R, and JavaScript, among others. I've also honed my skills in web and mobile development technologies such as React, Ionic, Firebase, PHP, ASP, WAMP, Node.js, and the MEAN stack. I relish the challenge of mastering new languages and delight in discovering the common threads that weave them together. Throughout my twelve-year professional career, I've had the privilege of sharing my knowledge with others. I've conducted numerous workshops for groups of 30 to 70 students, mentored junior colleagues, and even received recognition for teaching over 100 hours in a single year. In addition, I spent two years as a part-time tutor for Quantitative and Data Interpretation, further expanding my teaching experience. To date, I've had the pleasure of teaching over 1000 students. I am deeply committed to sharing my knowledge and passion for programming, and I look forward to helping you on your learning journey.

About the lesson

As an experienced Python tutor with more than a decade of background in software development, I offer lessons tailored to learners of all levels, from beginners to advanced students, regardless of age. My teaching approach is rooted in 'learning by doing'. I focus on practical exercises that reinforce Python's syntax, data structures, and libraries, making complex concepts digestible and engaging. Each lesson typically lasts 60 minutes, filled with a balance of theoretical understanding and hands-on exercises. This structure ensures that students not only understand the concepts but also gain practical experience. Being a self-taught programmer, I understand the challenges of learning a new language and the significant difference that tutored learning can make in reducing the learning curve. I believe that programming is a skill that can be built by practicing and improving logical reasoning, and hence, my lessons are designed to provide ample opportunities for practice. With my industry experience and unique perspective on learning programming, I'm committed to making Python accessible and exciting, providing personalized guidance to help students overcome any challenges. Whether you're new to programming or looking to enhance your Python skills, I look forward to helping you on your programming journey.
