About Tatum
My journey in programming began with curiosity about how small sequences of instructions could create meaningful, functional programs. This led me to pursue an M.Sc in Computer Science, equipping me with advanced knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles. Over the past 11 years, I have worked with students at varying levels, transforming uncertainty and frustration into clarity, understanding, and growing confidence in coding.
I prioritize patient, personalized instruction that adapts to each student’s learning style and pace. By breaking down complex concepts into approachable steps, using analogies, visual demonstrations, and iterative practice, I help learners internalize understanding rather than memorize solutions. My goal is to cultivate not only programming competence but also independent thinking, problem-solving skills, and confidence in applying knowledge to new challenges.
Beyond teaching, I continue exploring software development trends, experimenting with new programming languages, and engaging in personal coding projects. This continuous learning enriches my lessons and allows me to provide real-world insights.
