About Riyah
My journey in programming began during my Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, where I discovered how powerful coding can be in solving real-world problems. I was fascinated by how simple logic can be used to create complex systems and applications. Over the past 9 years, I have worked with students at different levels, helping them understand programming concepts clearly and build confidence through structured learning.
I believe that programming should be taught in a way that focuses on understanding rather than memorization. My teaching style includes step-by-step explanations, practical examples, and regular practice sessions. I encourage students to ask questions and explore different ways of solving problems. I also take time to understand each student’s learning pace and adjust my teaching approach so they feel comfortable, supported, and confident throughout their learning process.
Outside of teaching, I continue to work on programming projects and learn about new technologies and tools. This helps me bring real-world knowledge into my lessons and keep them updated. Teaching programming is very meaningful to me because I enjoy helping students grow from beginners into confident learners. Seeing them develop strong problem-solving skills and the ability to create their own solutions gives me great satisfaction and motivation to continue teaching.

Programming becomes much easier when students learn how to think logically instead of memorizing code without understanding its purpose. In my lessons, I focus on building strong foundational skills through simple and structured explanations. We begin with basic concepts such as variables, loops, and conditions. I guide students step by step, using clear examples so they understand how each part of the code works. This approach helps students feel comfortable and builds confidence as they begin learning programming.
As students improve, I introduce more advanced topics such as functions, object-oriented programming, data structures, and basic algorithms. I carefully guide them through each concept so they understand how to apply it in real coding situations. Each lesson includes hands-on practice, coding exercises, and debugging sessions. I also teach students how to identify mistakes and correct them, which helps them become more independent learners over time.
Programming lessons also help students develop logical thinking, problem-solving ability, and patience. They learn how to break complex problems into smaller parts and find solutions step by step. Over time, students gain confidence and start enjoying the process of creating programs. My goal is to help students feel capable, confident, and motivated to explore programming further and build strong technical skills.
