About Orla

My interest in programming began with curiosity about how software systems are built and how code can solve real-world problems efficiently. This curiosity encouraged me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and specialize in software development education. During the past 7 years, I have guided students through programming learning using structured teaching and supportive instruction. I enjoy breaking complex coding concepts into simple, understandable steps that learners can follow easily. Watching students grow into confident problem-solvers continues to motivate me as an educator. My teaching philosophy focuses on understanding, consistency, and encouragement rather than pressure-based learning. I believe students learn best when they feel supported and free to experiment with code.

Throughout my teaching experience, I have worked with beginners, university students, and aspiring developers preparing for technical careers. These experiences helped me understand how to adapt lessons based on learning speed and goals. I use hands-on coding practice, structured exercises, and project-based learning to strengthen understanding. Every lesson is carefully planned according to the student’s technical level and learning goals so progress remains steady and manageable. Beginners improve through patient support with syntax, variables, loops, and basic programming logic. Intermediate learners strengthen problem-solving skills, debugging ability, and structured coding techniques. Advanced students focus on algorithms, project development, and real-world software applications. I encourage students to understand programming logic instead of memorizing code. My goal is to make programming learning practical, engaging, and confidence-building.
