About Shanelle

Hi! I’m a passionate and dedicated educator who loves helping young learners grow, learn, and succeed! I believe learning should be fun, engaging, and filled with encouragement. My goal is to help every student build confidence, strengthen their math skills, and discover that learning mathematics can be exciting!

About the lesson

Mathematics Tutoring | Grades K–4

I provide engaging, personalized mathematics lessons for students in Kindergarten through 4th grade, helping young learners build a strong mathematical foundation while developing confidence in their abilities. My lessons are designed to meet each student’s individual learning needs, strengthen essential math skills, and make learning both enjoyable and rewarding.

My lessons focus on:

* Number Sense & Counting: Understanding numbers, counting, and place value.
* Addition & Subtraction: Developing accuracy and fluency with basic math operations.
* Multiplication & Division: Building foundational skills appropriate to each student’s grade level.
* Word Problems: Strengthening comprehension and applying math to real-life situations.
* Fractions & Basic Geometry: Introducing essential concepts through age-appropriate activities.
* Problem-Solving Skills: Encouraging logical thinking, reasoning, and independent learning.
* Math Fluency & Practice: Reinforcing classroom concepts through guided practice and interactive activities.

My goal is to create a supportive, patient, and encouraging learning environment where every child feels comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing at their own pace. I believe every child can succeed in mathematics with the right guidance, consistent practice, and encouragement.
