I believe that the mentor/mentee relationship should prioritize the mentee (and in the case of tutoring, the student of course!), and that I will work at the pace of where the student is currently at. I'm looking to tutor and mentor high school students taking AP psychology. I hope to get to know each and every student as much as possible, especially regarding the way that they learn, so I can individualize my teaching plans for them. If, for example, a student doesn't fully understand a topic, I am willing to break it down for them and help them further understand the trickiest spots.
