About Danielle

As an award-winning fiction author and poet, writing is both my passion and my life. But the path to where I am today wasn’t without its struggles—mistakes, setbacks, and learning curves that shaped me along the way. When I began my writing journey, I often wished for someone to guide me through the uncertainty. Your stories deserve to be told, and I’m here to help you share them with the world. As your tutor, I’ll help you find your voice, avoid common pitfalls, and guide you through the challenges so you can bring your stories to life.

About the lesson

Beginner writer tutoring:

I'll help you build a solid foundation in storytelling, creativity, and essential writing techniques. We’ll meet online or in person for dynamic sessions that include hands-on activities, personalised feedback on your work, and focused homework assignments to help you improve and grow as a writer.

If you’re working on a specific project, we’ll weave it into the coursework, ensuring that the lessons are tailored to your individual goals. Whether you’re just starting your writing journey or looking to gain confidence in your craft, this course offers a supportive and interactive environment to help you find your voice and bring your ideas to life.

Mentorship:

As your mentor, my goal is to guide you through your writing journey, helping you develop your skills, refine your voice, and create work you’re proud of. No matter if your project is in the early idea stage, you’ve already written multiple drafts, or anywhere in between, I’ll review your work-in-progress and collaborate with you to make it publication-ready.

We’ll meet online or in-person for focused sessions designed to meet your specific goals. Each session can include reviewing your writing, discussing techniques, brainstorming ideas, or troubleshooting challenges you’re facing.

Between sessions, you’ll work on your project, and I’ll provide detailed feedback to help you grow as a writer and develop a finished story ready for submission . Whether you’re stuck on plot development, refining your prose, or just trying to find the confidence to put pen to paper, I’ll be here to offer guidance and support.
