About Austin
I have been tutoring at California State University-Fullerton for two years. I have a BA in pure mathematics and was the most requested math tutor at the NSM center at CSUF. I was responsible for tutoring any of the standard math courses from Algebra to the end of the Calculus series (Calculus 4). I would also tutor more advanced undergraduate subjects like Modern Algebra and Real Analysis.

My teaching approach is based on the student. It's important to get a good feel for where they are. Once that's known, you can build a map to where they need to go. In math, I find that if there is a difficult question you don't know the answer to you can always ask an easier question that you also don't know the answer to. In answering the easier question it will help you solve the more difficult one.
