FT Python Dev | UNSW Graduate | From python basics to deploying a python website

Dennis has been a very patient and encouraging teacher in helping me pursue my passion for comp sci. He has explained concepts in a detailed and easy to understand manner that allows me to quickly pick up whilst also providing the opportunity to apply the concepts taught in relevant applications. An example would a Yesstyle (similar to Amazon) pricing web scraper that he has guided me. I have developed a deep understanding the design considerations surrounding databases(Postgres)/architecture, utilising different python packages like Selenium, Request and the reasons behind using them and its advantages/disadvantages, as well as industry tools such as Git, Docker and Jenkins for CD/CI. I was able to strengthen my familiarity with Python, problem-solving skills, but also gain insights into industry tools and grow my portfolio.
