About Michelle
I am a qualified Arts Award Advisior/Assessor, therapeutic art practitioner and have also delivered AQA GCSE Art.
I work as an Outreach Tutor, with KS1-GCSE and teach art classes and workshops to children and adults through my own company of a weekend.
I am a Mum of 1 (12 years) and a cat, and an artist myself. Additionally, I am studying BA Open Degree with The Open University and this year I am undertaking modules on art in the modern world and teaching secondary Maths… I find tutoring art relaxes me which is one of the reasons why I am offering my support.

My style of teaching art is student led, I use a combination of demonstration with hands on experience.
I will structure my approach to the needs and learning style of the student and believe that with art we should be given the tools to go explore our own style.
I believe in challenging the students to step out of their comfort zone to try something new but will then encourage them to continue to develop what skills they bring with them already.
