About Denisa
I studied ;
London college of fashion- 'Portfolio Preparation' course in Fashion Design.
De Montford Uni- FDa Art and Design (Footwear Design)
University of East London BA in Fine Arts (contemporary, focused on sculptures)
Currently I am learning on Masters of Arts, in an amazing, fulfilling , intensive course , so everything I learn is fresh in my mind, and as I applied to schools couple times, I have a clear idea of what is involved in the process of admission to art courses. I can help writing art proposal for grants or art residency application.
I am doing abstract sculptures, expressive abstract drawings, digital collages and digital abstract, figurative abstract drawing. I am doing research on cultural , immigrants identity, dual identity, Ageism, Body image, and most recently an immigrant's Identity by socio-psychological and scientific approach.
My motto is' contemporary art can be both intellectual, beautiful with a quality craftsmanship, at the same time, and quality art comes from passion, knowledge and skills.
I work with charcoal, acrylics, pastels, water soluble wax pastels, resin, plaster, Mica powders. Graphic design softwares like Procreate, Pixlr, Photoshop, Illustrator.
