About Luke
Hi there,
I'm a dedicated and passionate psychology teacher with two years of experience delivering A-Level and BTEC Psychology. I hold a degree in Psychology and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Secondary Psychology. My specialisms include 16-mark exam questions, research methods, biopsychology, and the core Year 1 topics, where I’ve consistently helped students boost both their subject knowledge and exam performance.
In my current role, I run targeted intervention sessions aimed at supporting struggling students, helping them build confidence in key areas and strengthen their exam technique. I take pride in creating a supportive, student-focused environment that encourages academic progress and personal growth.
Committed to continuous professional development, I regularly engage in subject knowledge enhancement to ensure I’m delivering the most up-to-date and effective support. Struggling with Psychology? My tutoring session use a student centred approach to help you feel more confident in both your subject knowledge and exam skills! In the first few lessons we will work together to identify areas of strengths and weaknesses. In the following sessions we will build on these area and follow a custom lesson plan which is unique to each student to enable you to excel in psychology.
