About

I am an experienced and passionate educator with over almost two decades of teaching experience. I hold both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in English Education, and I’ve had the privilege of teaching students ranging from kindergarten to high school seniors. My diverse teaching background has equipped me with the tools to help students of all ages and abilities grow as readers, writers, and critical thinkers. Beyond my professional credentials, I am also a mom of four, which has given me a deep appreciation for the individuality of each child and the unique ways they learn. Being a parent has taught me patience, empathy, and the importance of celebrating small victories. It’s also fueled my passion for education, reminding me daily that learning doesn’t just shape academic success—it shapes lives. I firmly believe that literacy has the power to change the world. The ability to read and write well opens doors, ignites imaginations, and empowers people to share their voices. My mission as a tutor is not just to help students pass tests or complete assignments but to equip them with lifelong skills that foster confidence and curiosity. Whether we’re building vocabulary, analyzing literature, or crafting essays, my goal is to make learning engaging, meaningful, and relevant. When I’m not teaching, you’ll often find me reading books, listening to podcasts, or enjoying time with my family. We recently got a puppy that we named Biscuit and are helping him to be the best boy! I understand the challenges students face today, and I’m committed to helping them overcome obstacles and discover the joy of learning.
