About Rimma
I'm currently a student at the University of Helsinki, and surprisingly studying mathematics and statistics. I have always been very good at math, even though I have suffered from quite severe learning problems as well as difficulties with concentrating.
I'm social and easy to work with, and I'm good at communicating with children and teenagers, since it hasn't been a long while when I was one.
I've also worked as a motivational speaker, an independent filmmaker, an author, a freelance writer and in customer service.

Since I'm from Finland, I give math lessons online on Skype etc. I will also correct the possible exercises done and help you with understanding the language of mathematics. I'm currently studying mathematics myself in the University of Helsinki, and I have plenty of experience in tutoring.
I give lessons to primary school students, middle schoolers and GCSEs. My strongest area of knowledge is definitely within differentiation and mathematical analysis, but I have really strong basics regarding pretty much any area.
I'll teach you in the way that you find most effective. Whenever I'm starting to tutor someone new, I will discuss through the basics at first and see how they can learn the best. I also emphasise the importance of self assessments and self evaluation.
Learning isn't only going to be repeating the same exercises; I will give plenty of different examples and make them easily understandable by using graphs as well as different sorts of pictures. I also use slideshows, presentations and so on. Different methods work for different people, and I'm very understanding in regards to someone having any learning disabilities, difficulties with concentrating and so on.

I will charge a little extra if I have to go through your exercises during my own time, but it varies between £5-£10. We can also go through the exercises together during a Skype call.
