About Tom

I have been a Maths teacher for 5 years because I am passionate about supporting young people achieve their goals. A strong understanding of Maths opens so many doors and will allow you to follow whatever path you want to take. I am determined to give all of my students this opportunity.

About the lesson

The only way to improve in Maths is to practice it yourself. In my lessons, I will always check your current level of understanding before explaining new concepts. I will model how to solve a problem before allowing you to answer questions with my guidance. My aim is to get you to a place where you feel confident answering questions independently.

Lessons will generally be from 30 minutes to an hour to suit your preference. I would be delighted to take on any secondary school-age students and to pass on my knowledge.
