About Jyoti

I’ve been teaching maths for many years and genuinely enjoy helping children grow in confidence. I hold a BA (Hons) in Mathematics, a Master’s degree in Maths, and teaching qualifications that help me adapt to different learning styles. I am also experienced in tutoring adults seeking to gain a GCSE in maths for purposes of employment or university admission. There’s nothing better than seeing that moment when maths finally clicks. I always aim to keep my lessons calm, supportive, and shaped around each child’s unique way of learning.

About the lesson

I believe the best teacher is someone who makes others fall in love with the subject—and that’s what I always aim for. I’m patient, supportive, and adapt every lesson to suit each child’s pace and personality. Whether a student is struggling with the basics or aiming for a top grade, I help them feel confident and capable, one step at a time.
