About Naomi
You play a clean, resonant chord that rings true in the quiet room. We move through scales and modes with a focus on your hand health. My 11 years of experience help me guide your rhythm guitar and chord transitions. We build your lead guitar ability piece by piece.
You gain control over your instrument through tuning and maintenance. Music theory becomes a simple tool in your belt. We tackle barre chords during the middle of the hour.

Music connects me to my students in a way that words sometimes cannot. I confess that I learn as much from my students as they do from me during our sessions. My background includes 11 years of experience teaching teens and adults. I hold a degree from UBC in Vocal Performance.
My students range from Grade 3 newcomer kids to adults finding their footing in Canada through music and language. I have guided 344 students through their musical development over the years. My path combines technical rigor with a deep patience for the process.
You will find that I prioritize a diagnostic skills check before building the lesson plan. Working with hobbyists and grade exam candidates remains a joy. I keep my approach steady and grounded.
