About Sophia
I am a recent graduate from Limestone University with a degree in Elementary Education. I am certified to teach grades 2-6. I have taught a diverse group of students (socioeconomic, ethnicity, race, religion, etc.) during my years of college. Math is my favorite subject, but understand that some may struggle with it or may not love it like me. I want to help your child succeed.

When I teach, I make sure to focus on student interest as well as environment. It is extremely important for the student(s) I am working with me know me and be comfortable in order for them to learn effectively. I want students to understand the importance to making mistakes and learning from them. I find it critical to build a more personal relationship with the student and family to understand any emotional and/or environmental support that I can possibly provide.
