About Juan Antonio
Juan Antonio Cuéllar is a distinguished figure in the music industry with a career that spans from globally renowned compositions to leadership roles in prestigious academic, artistic, and social organizations in Latin America, and over 25 years of teaching experience at graduate and undergraduate levels. He's known for his passion for music. He has been invited to participate and consult in international music festivals, educational programs, and academies, such as the Orchestra of America's Global Leaders Program, Virtuosos Budapest, and the Rojas School of Music. Cuéllar's compositions are showcased worldwide by esteemed ensembles. Some notable achievements include composing the music for Pope Francis' mass in Bogotá in 2017 Un Canto Nuevo (distributed by Sony Music) and obtaining a Latin Grammy (2023) for the album Niche Sinfónico in the category of Best Salsa Album featuring Grupo Niche and the National Symphony Orchestra of Colombia.
