I am a Rehabilitation Sciences student with hands-on experience in education and child development, tutoring math and science for middle and high school students while also providing college prep support. With years of supervising children and helping my younger sister with homework, I excel at breaking down complex concepts into manageable steps, adapting to each student’s learning style. My approach is patient, engaging, and focused on building both understanding and confidence. I offer math and science tutoring for middle and high school students, as well as college prep support, including test strategies and study skills. My teaching method focuses on breaking down complex concepts into simple, understandable steps, using a mix of hands-on examples, practice problems, and interactive discussions to keep lessons engaging. A typical lesson begins with a review of previous material, followed by guided practice, and ends with independent problem-solving or discussion to reinforce understanding.
