About Honey
With more than 16 years of experience as a Piano tutor, I have taught school students, college learners, and working professionals, helping them develop their piano skills in a fun, supportive, and structured environment. My goal is to make piano learning accessible, enjoyable, and meaningful for every student.
My teaching philosophy emphasises understanding, encouragement, and steady progress. I focus on building strong basics such as hand coordination, finger technique, rhythm, sight reading, and music theory. I also guide students to develop musical expression and creativity. Each lesson is explained in simple language, with clear demonstrations and practical exercises to make learning effective and enjoyable.
I customise lessons based on the student’s age, experience, and goals. For younger students, I use interactive methods to keep lessons engaging. For adults and working professionals, I focus on structured learning, time-efficient practice strategies, and performance preparation. Many of my students have performed in concerts, cleared graded exams, and developed a deep appreciation for music. Helping students achieve their full potential is my greatest achievement and passion.

I provide clear demonstrations, hands-on guidance, and constructive feedback while celebrating each milestone to keep students motivated. I also teach other relevant subjects with the same student-centred approach. My goal is to help students grow in confidence, develop their skills, and foster a lifelong love for learning and music.
