My teaching approach for Piano, Music Theory, and Rhythm Training focuses on building strong fundamentals through steady, personalized guidance. I believe every student learns piano differently, and my role is to shape lessons around their individual strengths and challenges.
Consistency is central to how I teach. I encourage regular, structured practice routines so students build muscle memory and confidence gradually, rather than trying to master everything at once.
Encouragement plays a big role in my sessions. Piano can be demanding at first, especially with hand coordination and note reading, so I focus on recognizing small improvements to keep students motivated throughout their learning journey.
Adaptability shapes how I adjust each lesson. Some students need more repetition, others benefit from visual explanations or hands on demonstration, so I tailor my teaching style to match how each student learns best.
My lessons begin with hand posture and finger exercises, followed by note reading and simple rhythm patterns. I introduce music theory basics early, including scales and chord structures, to build a well rounded understanding.
As students progress, I add sight reading and ear training exercises to strengthen their overall musicianship, along with expression and stage confidence for those interested in performance.
I tailor my teaching to each student's personal goals, whether they are learning for enjoyment, preparing for exams, or building skill for future advanced study. My aim is to create a consistent, encouraging, and adaptable learning space where every student grows steadily.
