About Thevar

I am a passionate Spanish tutor with 10 years of experience helping High School and College students achieve success in learning the language. During my teaching career, I have worked with around 150 students, supporting them in improving their grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills. Every student has a different learning style, and I believe that understanding those differences is the key to successful teaching.

My teaching philosophy is based on creating a learning environment where students feel comfortable, motivated, and respected. I believe students should never be afraid of making mistakes because mistakes help us learn. I explain every topic using simple language and practical examples so students can understand concepts clearly. I encourage active participation through discussions, role-playing, language games, and conversation practice. These activities make learning enjoyable while improving confidence.

I also believe regular revision is essential. Every lesson includes review sessions, short quizzes, and speaking exercises that help students remember what they have learned. Along with language skills, I introduce students to Spanish traditions, culture, and everyday expressions, making lessons more interesting and practical.

One of my greatest achievements has been helping around 150 students improve academically and communicate confidently in Spanish. Many learners have achieved higher examination scores and become more comfortable using the language in class and daily life. Their progress motivates me to continue improving my teaching skills.

My goal is to make Spanish learning enjoyable and meaningful. I want every student to leave my classes with stronger language abilities, greater confidence, and a genuine interest in continuing their Spanish learning journey.

About the lesson

My teaching approach combines creativity, critical thinking, mentoring, and accountability because I believe these qualities help students develop strong Spanish skills for lifelong success. I focus on making every lesson practical, interactive, and enjoyable while supporting each student's individual learning journey.

Lessons are carefully planned around the student's interests, strengths, and goals. I use conversations, storytelling, language games, role plays, reading passages, writing tasks, listening activities, and pronunciation exercises to create a balanced learning experience that improves all language skills together.

Critical thinking is encouraged by helping students discover grammar rules through guided examples and practical activities. Students learn to understand vocabulary in context, solve language challenges, and create original sentences instead of depending on memorization.

As a mentor, I provide patient guidance and continuous motivation. I encourage students to ask questions, explore new ideas, and become independent learners who enjoy improving their Spanish with confidence.

Accountability keeps learning consistent and organized. I establish learning objectives, review previous lessons, assign meaningful practice, monitor progress regularly, and provide detailed feedback after each lesson to support continuous improvement.

Besides Spanish, I teach grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary development, conversation practice, reading, writing, listening comprehension, travel Spanish, DELE preparation, beginner Spanish, and Hispanic culture. My goal is to help students communicate naturally and confidently in both everyday and professional situations.
