About Malia
Hi i'm Malia! I'm a dancer and visual artist based in los Angeles, I specialize in hip hop, contemporary, and modern dance with an emphasis in freestyle and strength training for dancers. I've had several injuries through my career, and have been in physical therapy and pilates for over 8 years developing a dance based approach that works for me.

I have a fun and lighthearted approach towards conditioning and prioritize balance and injury prevention through strengthening.
I'm a retired dancer due to injury but still prioritize these same dance principles in my workouts and training. These lessons are easy to implement from home using minimal equipment, available for both beginner and more experienced dancers alike!
typical lesson day:
-15 minute warmup
-15 minute isometrics and dynamic stretching
-20 minutes of conditioning (core, back, lower body)
-10 minute cool down/ across the floor
