About Stephanie
I am retired, but not old. I love being around teens; however, due to medical issues, I could not handle the physical demands of teaching full-time. Since retiring, I have traveled through Europe and have cruised around New Zealand to Australia. After giving out Halloween candy, I realized how much I miss being around students. I feel I am ready to settle down and tutor a few hours a week.

My Master's degree is in secondary literacy. For the past 15 years, I have taught struggling high school students not only to pass English to graduate, but also to get into college.
I have taught students with learning disabilities in small-group and individual settings. As a parent of a son with learning disabilities, I am caring and nurturing, as I understand what the student and parent are going through in high school.
Individual lessons are based on the student's requirements. I am here to support, reinforce, and reteach if necessary.
