About Susan
I am a retired public school teacher with over thirty years experience teaching reading, writing and arithmetic as well as Secondary English and Psychology. I enjoy teaching and tutoring a great deal. I have taught in filled classrooms, in small groups, as well as tutoring in all subjects necessary for my students to be successful.

I approach teaching in a positive way. I believe learning should be enjoyable. If a subject is actually painful, as in the case of a learning disabled student, I alternate more pleasurable activities with those which a less attractive to keep students interested.
