About Joshua
I’m a rising fourth-year medical student originally from the Los Angeles area and currently attending medical school in Fort Worth, Texas. I’m passionate about medicine, mentorship, dermatology, and research, and I’ll soon be starting a dedicated research year while continuing to help students succeed academically.

My tutoring approach focuses on understanding each student’s current knowledge level and adapting lessons to their learning style. I like to quiz students to identify strengths and weak areas, then reinforce high-yield concepts and common “traps” frequently tested on exams like the USMLE Step 1. My goal is not only to help students memorize material, but also to build critical thinking and long-term understanding.
