About Tyler
I am a rising senior at Columbia University pursuing a Computer Science degree. Throughout my time at Columbia, I have received multiple academic awards such as Academic All-Ivy, Academic All-American, and Dean's List honoree. As a high school student, I scored in the 99th percentile on the SATand was awarded the honor of being an AP Scholar with Distinction. As well as excelling in the classroom I am also a Division 1 Student-Athlete on the Track and Field/ Cross Country team at Columbia. As a member of the team, I have learned how best to manage my time and stress which has become a huge asset for me in my learning and teaching process.

As a son and grandson of teachers ranging from elementary to high school level, I have learned that everyone learns in a very unique way. I am extremely flexible with lesson plans and will do whatever is best for any individual student. A typical lesson will consist of a review of what the student may be struggling with or what was taught in the last session before moving into new material and finishing off with some guided practice of the new material. My lessons are for middle school to high school students.
